The beautiful LaSada Lodge has a rich history in Russell and offers a unique glimpse back into history. The former dairy barn, pictured above, was constructed in 1898 on a foundation of native limestone collected from the property. The history continues with the names of the builders forever etched in the original, exposed beams of the barn.
Although things look much different than they did 120 years ago, LaSada Lodge has not lost its classic charm and has most certainly earned its name as "a peaceful place." Come visit LaSada Lodge and enjoy a stay in the cozy barn-turned-lodge and take advantage of the beautiful views, trophy hunts, and serene surroundings.
Ethan & Morgan Jones have been dreaming of owning a venue like LaSada Lodge their whole lives. The couple's dream came true in 2018 when they took over operations of the lodge. LaSada has established itself as a great location for guided hunts, home-cooked meals, weddings, and a variety of events throughout its 25+ year history, and the Joneses are excited to continue that tradition!
Ethan and Morgan met in Manhattan, Kansas. Ethan was stationed at Fort Riley, and Morgan was attending K-State, where she received her Bachelors in Journalism with a Minor in Business. Ethan then also attended K-State to study Wildlife Outdoor Enterprise Management. Originally from the small town of Glen Rose, Arkansas, Ethan has been passionate about hunting his whole life and is excited to share his passion with fellow hunters. Morgan, who is originally from Colby, Kansas, loves the outdoors, meeting people, and looks forward to helping make your next LaSada Lodge stay memorable.
